New No Cell Phone Signs / No Texting Signs
Just in time for Distracted Driving Month this April, Stonehouse Signs is pleased to introduce our new No Cell Phone Signs / No Texting Signs. For the last several years, Distracted Driving Month has focused on educating people about the risks of texting and cell phone use - even hands-free devices - while driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that at any time during the day in the U.S., approximately 660,000 drivers are using cell phones or other electronic devices while driving - a number that has remained the same since 2010. And The National Safety Council estimates that 1 in 4 car crashes, or about 1.4 million crashes a year, involve drivers that are using cell phones. It is this growing issue that led Stonehouse Signs to add these new signs to our standard safety sign selection.
